What is Important at FLW? • Supporting the installation’s Master Plan • IET Soldier Bed Space (TRAPS Relocatables, TBUP, and Starship Barracks) • Facilities for the 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade • Upgrading Ranges to support TRADOC and FORSCOM Units • Upgrading Post Infrastructure to support increased facility demands (e.g. sewer, roads, phones)

  6. Long Term Master Plan for FLW N • Segregate FLW into BT, AIT, Permanent Party, and FORSCOM Zones • Support Increased Annual Trainee Load • Construct Facilities for 4th MEB

  7. BT / OSUT / AIT Long Term Transition Plans TRAPS Relocatables • Rolling Pin Barracks Renovation • Complete building overhaul, including mechanical systems and interiors. Starship Barracks Complex • Provide immediate bed space for BT and AIT Soldiers to meet Summer Surge Requirements • Over the next 10-20 years, replace Rolling Pin barracks and Specker AIT barracks with Starship Complexes

  14. Child Development Center • Replaces existing Quonset Huts • Designed to service two hundred 6-10 year old kids • Includes: • Large multipurpose room • Activity rooms • Kitchen • Game areas • Playground

  15. Range 7 & 8 • 2 independent Modified Record Fire Ranges • Primarily for BCT use • Constructed over the existing ranges • Includes all new facilities

  16. 4th MEB • New Facilities for a 2000-Soldier Maneuver Enhancement Brigade • Includes: • 2 Battalion HQ’s • Company Ops Facility • Maintenance Facility • Brigade HQ was not included due to lack of funding

  17. Prime Power School • Future Home of the Prime Power School • Includes: • - Admin Building • - Classrooms • - Generator Hardstands & Training Area
