  1. WHY JESUS Came to Earth John 6:38

  2. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. John 6:38 ESV

  3. What is it, that you need?

  4. For the old system dealt only with certain rituals—what foods to eat and drink, rules for washing themselves, and rules about this and that. The people had to keep these rules to tide them over until Christ came with God’s new and better way. Hebrews 9:10 The Living Bible

  5. What did the Rich Young Ruler want?

  6. As he was starting out on a trip, a man came running to him and knelt down and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to get to heaven?” Mark 10:17 The Living Bible

  7. Belief Mistake #1 What I have is Probably Enough to Have a Right Relationship with God

  8. Belief Mistake #2 If What I have isn’t Enough, I can do more to earn my way to heaven.

  9. We are all infected and impure with sin. When we put on our prized robes of righteousness, we find they are but filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6 The Living Bible

  10. But now God has shown us a different way to heaven—not by “being good enough” and trying to keep his laws, but by a new way. Now God says he will accept and acquit us—declare us “not guilty”—if we trust Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, by coming to Christ, no matter who we are or what we have been like. Romans 3:21-22 The Living Bible

  11. Belief Mistake #3 I can trust Jesus with part of my life and still be completely right with God.

  12. For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. 2 Chronicles 16:9 NASB

  13. These Belief Mistakes Steal our Life - Because they make us dependant upon our ability to keep rules

  14. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 NASB
