  1. Implementing a Neighborhood Watch

  2. What is a Neighborhood Watch Association (NWA) A group of neighbors who decide to come together to address crime and/or safety issues in their area.

  3. How can a NWA benefit your neighborhood? The community is provided with an increasing number of people who watch their neighborhood for suspicious activities or crime.

  4. How can you start a NWA where you live? • Establish a meeting. The first meeting of your NWA is where direct cooperation with law enforcement can be started, and where plans can be made. • Using a phone tree to quickly get in touch with your neighbors. • To make your NWA effective, provide more useful information to law enforcement, make your property less conducive to crime and ask questions to grade your neighborhood 's safety. • Try and tackle emerging issues as soon as you can see them coming.
