  3. Sestava • Vsak transformator ima primarno in sekundarno navitje, ki sta naviti na skupno feromagnetno jedro.

  4. Delovanje • Deluje na principu indukcije • Primarno navitje ustvarja spremenljivo magnetno polje • Feromagnetno jedro še dodatno ojači magnetno polje • V sekundarnem navitju se zaradi tega inducira napetost
