Morgan Browne Collective Photoshoot Morgan Browne Collective is a premier real estate agency (Real Estate Photographer Burnaby) based in Vancouver, renowned for offering personalized services in a competitive market. As part of the esteemed Oakwyn Realty, Morgan Browne Collective offers clients a streamlined, professional approach to buying and selling properties. Whether it’s finding a dream home or securing a profitable sale, Morgan Browne Collective has earned a reputation for trust and dedication. I had the pleasure of working with Morgan Browne Collective on a photoshoot for a stunning 4000 sqft home in Belcarra, Vancouver, just outside of New Port Moody. This shoot was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the beauty and unique characteristics of the property, while capturing the lifestyle that comes with it. The Creative Vision Behind the Shoot Real estate photography is all about telling the story of a property. For Morgan Browne Collective, the challenge was to showcase the property’s impressive size, its breathtaking natural surroundings, and its luxurious interior. The goal was to create images that felt both aspirational and attainable —giving potential buyers a true sense of the home’s potential. Before the shoot, I met with the team to discuss their vision for the property. With 4000 sqft to work with, we knew we had to emphasize the spaciousness of the home while still making it feel warm and welcoming. The
team wanted photos that not only showcased the house’s grandeur but also captured the inviting feel of living in a peaceful area like Belcarra, surrounded by nature and tranquility. The Photoshoot Setup: Location, Props, and Atmosphere Belcarra is a beautiful and serene neighborhood located just outside New Port Moody, surrounded by forests and stunning views of the water. This setting provided an incredible backdrop for the photoshoot, and it was important to capture the connection between the property and its surroundings. The 4000 sqft house itself was stunning, with spacious rooms, expansive windows, and high-end finishes throughout. The goal was to create images that highlighted these features while still maintaining a sense of coziness. We carefully styled the home by adjusting furniture placements and removing any clutter, allowing the property’s beauty to take center stage. Interior Shots: Capturing the Heart of the Home With a home of this size, it was crucial to emphasize the scale and layout without overwhelming the viewer. I used wide-angle lenses to capture the flow of the home — showing how the rooms connected and creating an open, airy feel. The interior shots focused on highlighting key features, such as the grand living areas, the luxurious kitchen, and the spacious bedrooms. Natural light played a huge role in bringing the home to life. The large windows allowed sunlight to flood the rooms, creating bright and inviting spaces. For areas with less natural light, we used supplemental lighting to maintain a natural, warm ambiance.
Exterior Shots: Showcasing the Property’s Curb Appeal The exterior of the house was just as impressive as the interior. Surrounded by nature and with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, the property’s curb appeal was undeniable. We chose to shoot the exterior during golden hour to take advantage of the soft, warm light that enhanced the beauty of the home. These exterior shots provided an opportunity to showcase the vastness of the property, as well as the peaceful, private location. The images emphasized the serene environment, giving potential buyers a sense of what it would be like to live in this beautiful, nature-filled area. The Importance of Lighting: Creating the Perfect Mood Lighting is everything in real estate photography. For this shoot, we made sure to use natural light wherever possible, especially for the interior shots. The large windows in the home allowed the sunlight to pour in, creating bright and airy rooms. In areas where natural light wasn’t enough, we used soft artificial lighting to fill in shadows and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere. For the exterior shots, we made sure to photography (Real Estate Photographer Burnaby) the house during the golden hour, when the natural light creates a soft, inviting glow. The combination of sunlight and shadows helped add depth and dimension to the property, showcasing its beauty and connection to the surrounding nature.
Post-Production: Bringing the Vision to Life After the photoshoot, the next step was editing the images to ensure they were as polished as possible. I focused on enhancing the natural light in each photo, brightening the rooms while still keeping the look authentic and true to the property. The goal was to make the home feel inviting and expansive, without altering its true essence. Color correction was also important to ensure that the tones of the interior and exterior were consistent across all the photos. The final images highlighted the grandeur of the property while maintaining the warmth and inviting feel that made it so special.
