To understand the passage, students should know about the 3 levels of comprehension in reading. By using these different levels of reading, it is easy to understand, and explain difficult texts. We have put together 3 levels here. Take a look:- Literal meaning:- It is simply about what the text says. This level of reading helps to understand the foundation of advanced comprehension. Inferential meaning:- At this level, there is a need to interpret the text to find an answer.
