Some Interesting Comparisons • Population of Nepal (27 070 666) is approx 3 Times larger than population of NYC • Nepal’s geographical area is 180 (approx) times larger than NYC • 124 languages are spoken in Nepal while 180 languages are spoken in NYC • 90% of Nepali earn their living from farming while a very small percentage of Americans do so.
