  4. The US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires hyperbaric facilities be compliant with the 2012 edition of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code (LSC)and NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code (HCFC)

  5. The LSC is a set of fire protection requirements designed to provide a reasonable degree of safety from fire.

  6. The HCFC is a set requirements intended to provide minimum requirements for the installation, inspection, testing, performance & safe practices for facilities, material & appliances.
