It is needed for drinking, dental health, sanitation, industrial use, agriculture, medical, commercial use and leisure activities. • The safety of our water supply has improved compared to centuries ago when there was constant outbreak of diseases such as cholera and typhoid fever. • Some countries in other parts of the world do not have access to clean drinking water which is desperately needed to prevent disease outbreaks.
