  3. What is needed? • Computer with internet access (hard wired is best) • Download Zoom (Zoom.us) - helpful • Webcam • So the presenter can see you • Microphone • So the presenter can hear you • Earbuds with a microphone work great for one person participating in a program

  4. What is Zoom? • Desktop Videoconference Software – skype, google hangouts • Features • Chat • Screen Share • Recording • Works on all devices with internet access

  5. Scheduling with RETN Add your campus to the RETN Web site • Instructions

  6. Prior to the event • Test Zoom, camera, microphone • Call 817-740-7615 • Ongoing test, Monday-Friday 8AM – 4:30PM • If unable to attend, please notify help desk • Zoom link will be emailed a day or two before the event to Campus Manager and others as requested (on the embedded form…remember?)

  7. Day of the Event • Click on the Zoom link from email or enter the meeting ID in Zoom • Join “Audio by Computer”

  8. Day of the Event • Stay muted unless you are speaking • Eye-contact with camera • Delay • Student Program: Make sure the presenter can see the students!

  9. Additional Responsibilities • Share RETN schedule & events • www.esc11.net/RETNnews - newsletter • Weekly schedule is emailed, usually Friday • Join RETN listserv

  10. Additional Responsibilities • Manage number of simultaneous events • Bandwidth, students on network • Group classes when possible • Notifying RETN staff of technical issues • Help Desk 817-740-7616
