When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 17:17 ~ Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. Ps 119:160 ~ The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

  5. Authority John 18:37 ~ "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts. Confidence

  7. Eph 4:14 ~ that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ. Defense

  8. 1 Thess 5:21 ~ Test all things; hold fast what is good. Prov 6:21-23 ~ Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie them around your neck. When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you. For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life, Tight? Closely?

  9. Titus 1:9-11 ~ holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict. For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. Tight? Closely?

  10. 2 Tim 2:15-18 ~ Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. Tight? Closely?

  11. Ephesians 6:14 ~ Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, NKJV To be truthful, genuine and sincere before God and others

  12. 1 Tim 1:5 ~ Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, Judges 7:3 ~ 'Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.'" And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained. Ps 51:6 ~ Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, Want?

  13. 2 Tim 2:4 ~ No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. Ex 12:11 ~ And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover. Move

  14. Dan 3:16-18 ~ … "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up." Courage

  15. Hypocrisy 1 Tim 4:1-2 ~ Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
