  3. Reasons to create & use EM in class • To provide extra practice for weaker learners. • Consolidation and review exercises for groups. • To generate a large bank of materials to be used in class or for self-study at any point in the future.

  5. What is an authoring tool? • An installable program that allows you to create materials in electronic format • Can be distributed on a CD-ROM, DVD, USB, via web page to your learners.
