Licensing • A legal arrangement where the corporation is granted legal rights to commercialize the university invention, with agreed to ‘due diligence’ milestones. • The reward for each is a new profitable product serving a market for the public benefit and a 5% royalty to the University. The risk is lack of expected success for investments.
