  2. Sydney Harbour Bridge • It is found at Sydney Harbour • It is a built landmark • It is 49 meters wide, 134 meters high, 503 meters long and weighs 39, 000 tones. • It is arched shape steel bridge and is nicknamed “The Coathanger”

  3. Sydney harbour bridge (continued) • Began building in 1928 opened 19th March 1932. • It’s used for cars, trains, pedestrian. • trains, bike paths, footpaths. • It’s important because it is famous landmark and connects Sydney city to north shore of Sydney looks unique.

  4. Great Barrier Reef Found in North East Queensland. It’s a natural place. It’s 3000km long area of 348, 000 and square kilometres. It’s 2900 individual reefs make up the Great Barrier Reef and over 9oo islands are part of the Reef.

  5. Great barrier Reef (continued) Only living things that can be seen from outer space. It’s a breeding area for humpback whales. It’s important because its one of the sevens natural wonders in the world.

  6. Opera House It’s name is the Opera House It’s in Bennelong point Sydney It’s a built landmark It’s 183 m long 600 m long and 120 m ( 395 ft ) wide at its widest point A series of white shells

  7. Opera House (continued) • Built by Jorn Utzon opened in 1973 • Performing venue – 1500 performance per year with 1.2 million visitors viewing the performance • World Heritage site tourist destination

  8. Uluru • South west part of northern territory Alice spring • It’s a natural landmark • 2.4km long 1.6km wide 348.7m high 863 m above sea level • Very little vegetation grows on the rock

  9. Uluru (continued) • Use to be known as Alyers rock however was given its original name in 1985 • Used to be able to climb the rock however because of its spiritual significance people are asked not to • Listed as World Heritage Site.
