  2. Positive Wellbeing Group Every day we will focus on one of the 10 letters in RESILIENCE. Resilience definition: Resilience describes a person’s capacity to cope with changes and challenges and to bounce back during difficult times. The more resilient someone is, the better they are at getting through tough times, and the better their chances at recovering from experiences of adversity and trauma. Today’s Top Tip! All Year Groups EXTENDED TUTOR TIME This morning, the HT has given permission for Tutor Time to be extended by 5 minutes to allow S3 to complete a questionnaire following their observation of the “Crush” Drama which dealt with the subjects of abuse within teenage relationships and gender stereotyping. Normandy trip (2016) Reminder, if you would like to go on this trip, see Mrs Albarracin at interval to collect a form. Under 14’s Football Congratulations to the Under 14’s football team who continued their winning streak by beating Castlemilk High on a very wet and windy night. The final score was 4-2 to Bella! A very special mention to Sean McBride who scored all 4 goals. The boys will be taking on John Paul Academy tonight… Good Luck 

  4. All Year Groups Arrangements for tomorrow Come to school in your full uniform. Karaoke event in Hall in aid of charity for S1 – S3 only. S4-6 remain in class… exams are looming! Two short periods of 35 minutes after lunch, finishing at 2.30pm.

S5/6 Scotland Apprenticeships - now open Closing date is midnight 17th April 2015. http://careerssearch.bbc.co.uk/jobs/job/Scotland-Apprentice/11461 The BBC Scotland Apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the media industry. From September, 10 people will have the chance to work with BBC professionals on Radio, TV and Online content across a range of departments such as Sport, Children’s, Learning and News.   7. S5/6 Easter Revision All forms to tutor teachers or directly to the office. By letting us know the classes you want to attend in advance, we can make registers and ensure the class is running. Low numbers puts the subject at risk of not running. Supported Study SQA Exams Please ensure that the school office has the correct spelling of your name and the correct address for you.  The name we have is what will appear on your certificate and also the address to which your certificate will be sent. Drama Good Luck to all of our N4/N5 Drama pupils who are sitting their SQA exam today. see Mr Sim straight after the assembly. GSOS Sport Education If you are sitting sport ed. You must see Kevin Wednesday at interval in the GSoS classroom Modern Apprenticeships We have opportunitites for: NHS (Admin), KPMG (accountancy), BBC (Media) and funding for Civil Engineering

Mr Keatings Drama Good Luck to all of our N4/N5 Drama pupils who are sitting their SQA exam today. Summer Leavers If you intend to leave at Summer, please let Ms Anderson know. If you are sitting mostly Nat 4s, we have an opportunity to let you go on a 6 week Employability programme to prepare you for life after school. This is great for your CV.
