About Circle K International • Leading collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and fellowship organization in the world • Over 13,000 members in 17 nations • Circle K clubs are organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university campus • CKI is self-governing and elects its own officers, conducts its own meetings, and determines its own service activities. • CKI incorporates service and leadership training with opportunities to meet other college students all over the world. Circle K began in 1936 as a fraternity at Washington State University by the Kiwanis Club! Circle K Fun Fact

Club Essentials • Motto: Live to Serve, Love to Serve • Pledge: I pledge to uphold the objects of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill towards others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind’s potential. • Mascot(s): Kanga and Roo • Meetings: Wednesdays @ 12:30pm in Roscoe West room 201 TCNJ’s Circle K is one of the few CKI clubs that has a mascot!   5. Service • The heart of Circle K • Members have the opportunity to serve their campus, community and the rest of the world • CKI has a wide variety of different service projects and activities Circle K members perform over 1 million hours of service every year! Circle K Fun Fact

Leadership • Allows members the opportunity to develop the skills to become active citizens and leaders • Opportunities rise at all levels of the organization • CKI hosts several experiential training conferences all year round TCNJ Circle K’s very own Dawn Kreder is New Jersey’s District Governor this service year! What does our club do? • Community Service • Tutoring, animal shelter, Eick clean-ups, and so much more! • Attend Circle K International Events • Great way to meet other Circle K members from other schools • Socials and Events Have a service idea? Things To remember • TCNJ Circle K: an organization based on service, leadership and fellowship • We meet weekly! • Dues! • Members who wish to be inducted into the club must pay the dues required to formally be a part of the club. • You can still be part of the club if you are not at the meetings or if you aren’t a dues paid member. Weekly e-mails are sent informing members of meetings, events and service opportunities! Fun Fact Our club is the biggest Circle K clubs in the state!
