  2. Greet your audience • 1. An informal/ comfortable greeting can “break the ice” before rushing into your content. • 2. Allow for some time after your greeting for your audience to process who you are. • 3. Be sure to look at your audience during the greeting. Look happy and excited to be with them (smile!)

  3. Sell your conclusion • 1. It is the last thing your audience remembers. • 2. “Show” or emphasize your central message. • 3. Stay at the podium for your applause, so it does not look like you are running away
