Long history of CBNRM in the region (since 70’s) mainly Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, South Africa and Tanzania) Community Areas Management Programme for Indigenous Resources (CAMPFIRE) and others Different implementation and results Aim of the study: analyse the experience, results, limitations formulate conclusion and practical recommendation Lessons learnt from Community Based Natural Resources Management (CBNRM)
