Look at the following preterite forms of the verb “pedir”: yo pedí nosotros pedimos tú pediste Ud./él/ella pidióUds./ellos/ellaspidieron Notice how the bottom forms (Ud./él/ella and Uds./ellos/ellas) changed to i.

  3. Let’s do some practice. What is the preterite “tú” form of the verb “vestir”? That’s right… it’s vestiste! Let’s do a few more. What is the preterite “ellos” form of the verb “repetir”? That’s right… it’s repitieron!

  4. What is the preterite “nosotros” form of the verb “pedir”? That’s right… it’s pedimos! What is the preterite “yo” form of the verb “vestir”? That’s right… it’s vestí!

  5. What is the preterite “ellos” form of the verb “repetir”? That’s right… it’s repitieron! What is the preterite “nosotros” form of the verb “vestir”? That’s right… it’s vestimos!
