  2. HISTÓRICO • Cidade do RJ (antigo DF) • 1944: Pol Civil do DF foi transformada em Departamento de Polícia Federal • 1960: Mudança da Capital Federal para Brasília - DPF vai também, c/ os funcionários que optaram pela mudança • DPF passa à subordinação do Min Justiça

  3. HISTÓRICO • 1988: Art 144 define a PF como um dos órgãos responsáveis pela segurança pública no Brasil

  4. FINALIDADE: • Art 144: exercer a segurança pública para preservação da ordem pública, pessoas e patrimônio

  5. ATRIBUIÇÕES: • Apurar infrações penais contra a ordem política e social, bens, serviços e interesses da União • Apurar infrações penais em crimes de repercussão interestadual ou internacional • Prevenir e reprimir: tráfico de drogas e o contrabando • Exercer funções de Pol Marítima, Aeroportuária e de Fronteira • Exercer a função exclusiva de Polícia Judiciária da União

EMPREGO: • Aux Seg Pres Rep, Diplomatas estrang e se necess, dos representantes dos Poderes da Rep • Prevenir e Reprimir crimes : • Seg Nac • Ordem Pol e Soc • Org trabalho ou decorrentes de greves • prev no Art7ºdo CP • a bordo de navios/aviões • contra vida, patrimônio, silvícolas • Servid Fed no exercício da função • relativos aos estrangeiros no País

EMPREGO: • Contra os interesses da União • com repercussão interestadual • Coord, interligar e centralizar os Sv datiloscópicos • Selec, formar, treinar, especz e aperfeiç seu pessoal • Adquirir mat de seu interesse • Prestar assist técn-científ de natureza Policial aos Estados • Investigar qdo determinado pelo Min Justiça • Integrar o SNI e Plnj Federal
