  3. Cleopatra is Famous Because… • Cleopatra was the last queen and pharaoh of Egypt. • Cleopatra was doing a man’s job in a time where women did not have those kind of rights. • William Shakespeare wrote a play about her called Antony and Cleopatra. • She was married to two of the most powerful men in Rome. • She was the first and only Ptolemy to learn Egyptian. This is a picture of the book I used.

  4. Cleopatra’s Later Years… • Cleopatra married her brother Ptolemy XIII, Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. • She had four children one was with Julius Caesar the other three were with Mark Antony. • She fought and lost lots of wars. • Cleopatra went to Rome a lot of times. • She died in 30 B.C. at age thirty-nine. No one knows how except that she must have taken some form of poison. Cleopatra holding a poisonous asp which is a snake.

  5. Cleopatra’s Impact on Others lives… • Cleopatra helped Egypt become what it is today. • If she had not lived William Shakespeare would not have written the play Antony and Cleopatra. • Cleopatra inspires books, plays and movies. • She showed that women could do anything that men could do. • Even though she died young she was a very powerful woman. A painting of Cleopatra.

  6. My Opinion on Cleopatra • She is a good example of perseverance because she did not give up her plans with Julius Caesar after he died. • She was intelligent because in a war she made a battle strategy of putting troops on water and land and it worked. • She was bilingual because she understood Greek, Latin, Egyptian and other languages. • Cleopatra was confident because she was fine talking to Rome’s most powerful men. • Finally she was quick-thinking because of how fast she solved her problems. Another painting of Cleopatra.
