  2. Enchanted Assessment • At LFSD teachers are responsible for adding activities to the lesson plan from Enchanted Learning books according to the students needs. Currently, teachers are frustrated that they have to add activities according to students needs, while juggling, training, and meeting deadlines set by administrators. Note: You may want to list each of these on a separate screen.

  3. Enchanted Assessment cont. • After collecting data from a survey it has been concluded that teachers are not getting the right information from Enchanted Learning books. Enchanted online helps teachers add appropriate activities. Enchanted Learning makes it their mission to produce education materials that emphasize creativity and the pure enjoyment of learning.

  4. Enchanted Assessment cont. • Los Fresnos School District purchases an online program Enchanted Learning. Each teacher has his/her own computer in the classroom and internet access to the online program. The district decided that all Kindergarten teacher should receive training using Enchanted Online Learning.

  5. Instructional Goal: • After completing this training, teachers will be able to access the Enchanted Learning online program. • Teachers will be able to download and print the activities from Enchanted Learning program.

  6. Performance Objectives: After completing this training, learners will be able to: 1. Login into the Enchanted Home page and search for the appropriate activities. 2. Teachers will have access to more than 25,000 web pages with wide range of topics. 3. Teacher will be able to save planning time and help implement the best resources into the lesson plan.

Assessment • Test • What is Enchanted Learning ? • Do you have to log in? • Do you need password? • Do you need a computer? • Can you have access from another places besides the school? • Do you need internet access to Enchanted Learning? • Can you download activities? • Can you print activities? • Can you implement activities from Enchanted Learning to your lesson plan? • The program is easy to access?

  9. Learner Characteristics: 1. Intended audience for the Enchanted Learning online training are the teachers of Los Fresnos School District, who need to implement activities, games, books and etc. 2. Teachers have the basic computer skills to complete the program. 3. Teachers at LFSD continues to provide the best education to students.

  10. Learning Context: The training will be take place at LFSD school campus inside a computer lab classroom. Teacher will have access to computers and internet service. They will listen to a lecture and require to take notes. Also, teachers will have access to the Enchanted Learning online and training manual.

  11. Instructional Strategies: • Introduction: (a) Overview of Training (b) Statement of Goal and Objectives (c) Contents of Enchanted Learning Online package.

  12. Instructional Strategies cont. • Presentation: • Introduction to Enchanted Learning Lecture. • At the top of the home page you will see a tool bar with tabs labeled. Teachers will followed instructions step by step about each tab.

  13. Instructional Strategies cont. Assessment Test: Teacher will take a 10 question test. Project: Teacher will login, download and print activities to incorporated into the lesson plan.

  14. Instructional Strategies cont. • Time for practice: Teachers will be able to search for activities. Summarize: 1. Review teacher learning skills. 2.Review training goals and objective.

  15. Instructional Resources: • Los Fresnos School District will provide a lap top to each teacher with the program Enchanted Learning. Also, it will have internet access and printer. Enchanted Learning kit and user’s guide for references.

  17. Formative Evaluation: • I will be using the school district administrators evaluation and subject expert matter expert evaluation method to evaluate my design plan. • I will also be email a copy of my design plan to at least one more school district administrator.

  18. Summary • Teachers play a vital role in Los Fresnos School District overall technological education program. Also, teachers are committed to providing the best possible educational environment for learning. Teachers will find that this program helps parents and educators make learning enjoyable and satisfying.
