  2. What Graphic Designers Do .Graphic designers create, conceptualize, and sample designs and layouts based on their knowledge of layout principals and esthetic design concepts. . They also determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and font size. . Graphic designers also use a computer’s software to create new images. . They provide the maintenance of the archive of images and previous work projects. . They prepare notes and instructions for workers that make and set up the final layouts for printing. . Review final layouts and make suggestions for improvements that are or might be needed.
