New Mexico AFIS FastID UpgradeChange Request Certification Executive Summary • FastID add-on component to DPS AFIS system • Provide desktop units and hand held mobile devices that may be used in Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) to identify individuals in custody, utilizing existing AFIS technology to code and match the fingerprint of a suspect to a database for timely identification purposes within the NMDPS and other LEAs.
