Our goal is for athletes to learn the disciplines and techniques of the game through Christ. We take pride in our performance on and off the field as we represent T.C.P.S.! BE A CHAMPION

PARENT-STAFF COMMUNICATION • We will use email/text as much as possible. • Feel free to contact me at anytime for any reason regarding your son or program. • Ground Rules: We will not discuss other players, playing time, or coaching strategy/decisions • “Cooling off period” of 24 hours after games • Position Coaches are the primary point of contact. • We ask that players be primary communicator to parents and with coaches.

FOOTBALL 2014 • Program Goals & Expectations – STRIVE FOR PERFECTION, ATTAIN EXCELLENCE! • Takes all of us – Parents, Admin, Players, and Coaches • Parent’s Role: To support and encourage. • Online Info (calendar) – www.tcpshawksfootball.com • Physicals – Need one for Spring Practice • Good for one calendar year. • Sports Banquet – May 16th.

LIFT-A-THON 2014 • April 28th-30th after school in weight room. • This Lift-A-Thon will be a major fundraiser for the football program. • The money raised will be used in the following ways: • Player Packs • Each participant, with the help of his parents, will seek sponsors and donations for the Lift-A-Thon. ($.01,.05,.10) • The participant will attempt a maximum lift in BENCH PRESS, SQUAT and POWER CLEAN and will have a three lift total. • Each TCPS Football player should to try to collect $250 or more (Player Packs). • $250 cost of player pack • Any $ over is credited toward player fee ($175) • Money due on or before May 16th. Turn into Coach McKenzie.

  13. SPRING PRACTICE 2014 • May 12th -22nd (Monday – Thursday) • Equipment issued May 1st & 2nd. • Equipment returned (CLEAN) May 26th & 27th. • Rising 9th – 12th grades. • Spring Schedule:

SUMMER PRACTICE 2014 • Session #1 (June 2nd-June 19th) 9am-11:30am (M-Th) • DEAD PERIOD (June 20th-July 6th) *Over two weeks off • Family Vacations • Session #2 (July 7th-July 24th) 9am-11:30am (M-Th) • 7 on 7 • July 15th Sale Creek 5pm (Skill and Line) • July 17th @ Grace Bapt. 5pm (Skill Only) • July 22nd / 24th TBD • Players who attend 100% of summer workouts will be given first choice of equipment and name on back of jersey.

  15. PRE-SEASON PRACTICE 2014 • Begins July 28th 9am-12:30pm • These are MANDATORY!!!! (unless previously excused by Coach McKenzie) • FULL PADS at practice. • Afternoon Practices begin August 4th. • 4pm – 6:30pm
