  2. The Craigslist Killer • Elytte and Miranda Barbour have been charged with stabbing and strangling Troy LaFerrara after meeting with him Nov. 11, 2013, through a Craigslist ad in which Miranda Barbour reportedly offered LaFerrara sex in exchange for money. Miranda claims she warned the victims that she was a minor before they met, if the victim walked away they would not be killed. The Babour’s believed they were doing society a favor by killing these sexual predators. Both were arrested in December. Since then, Miranda Barbour has claimed to be responsible for more than 20 other murders, including one in Los Angeles, this has sparked national attention.
