Company Profile • International lifestyle brand • stand-alone subsidiary of the Ralph Lauren Corporation(SEC Filings, 2015) • Headquartered in New York City’s Chelsea Gallery District • with 70 stores worldwideand operating in 140 points worldwide • Their first store opened in 1985 in Toronto (Kaufman, 1999). • Prior to being a subsidiary of the Ralph Lauren Corporation, Club Monaco was owned by the Monaco Group • bought by Ralph Lauren for $122 million in 1999 (Theobald, 1999).
