PRIMIS Foundations

In 2003, PRIMIS, led by Professor Mike Pringle, demonstrated significant advancements in primary care, training 360 facilitators across 232 PCTs, engaging 6,617 practices, and covering over 19 million patients. The dedicated PRIMIS team focuses on data quality improvements, effective use of GP systems, and ongoing support through education and training. They respond to evolving needs in information governance, patient safety, and clinical information while enhancing feedback mechanisms. With a vision for future integration and efficiency, PRIMIS aims to support primary care in navigating a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
