  3. Problem • Today’s e-commerce requires an infrastructure for executing transactions between RTR applications • Many customers require interoperability between RTR and other environments

Solution: RTRnet • RTRnet is an interoperability component for creating a network of RTR facilities. • Adds synchronous transactions between RTR facilities. • Adds asynchronous store-and-forward of transactions between RTR facilities. • Brings RTR capabilities to Tandem NSK. • Customizable for interoperation with many protocols: MQ Series, LU6.2, MSMQ.

  12. RTRnet Details • Facility interaction with RTRnet is tunable by the System Manager • Standard SQL database and management tools for Store & Forward queue • RTR and MQ-Series interface provided. Open interface can be customized for other protocols: LU6.2, MSMQ • Multi-level RTRnet addressing for delivery of a transaction to a specific RTRnet.facility.partition
