  1. Pillars on which TPM focuses mainly A perfect production can only happen if every machine is working correctly. Thus, there are no breakdowns at the time of work, which will result in loss of time and productive interests, no slow running of the machinery, and no accidents. Therefore, Total Productive Management works as a shock absorber for all such unpleasant scenarios. Thus, the approach of TPM that is mainly oriented with maximizing the operational efficiency is very positive towards the company’s betterment. Here are some of the pillars that TPM focuses on:

  2. Overall Maintenance: Taking up the responsibility of the non-living things is more significant than taking the responsibility of the ones who can speak their problems out. Understanding the requirements of the machines, proper cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of the working machinery while it is working are all the duties that come under the focus of management. This also involves planned Maintenance; for example, all the cleaning and lubrication will happen only when the machine is stopped and put to rest and not when the production is happening. So, that will not affect the production time as well.

Quality Maintainance: Keeping the machinery up to date, analyzing the changes required in the design, and what effect would an outdated design have on the production are all under the TPM consulting works. This also involves having a smaller group of people who constantly work on improvement and advancement.

  4. Training and Education For Total productive Management, the consultancy needs to fill in the gaps created because of the lack of knowledge and Education.
