1. ZYLOR EDUCATION - GET QUALITY TUTORING FROM US We began tutoring in 2012 with only two students and have now grown to 500 students a year. Zylor takes a disciplined approach to tutoring to ensure our students' success. We break down subject material into bite-sized information to make concepts easier to grasp for our students, and quiz them as they learn to ensure they retain the information. HowWe Teach In the Session One on one tutoring where students will learn concepts, cover two topics, take a quiz every session and homework will be assigned. Communication A study plan will be created for every student to help keep them on track. Zylor will share the plan with parents so they can follow along with their child’s progress. Support Services Listen to our Video Lectures and Lesson Summary when not in a tutoring session for each topic. SubjectsWe Tutor CHEMISTRY When we Tutor Chemistry, we ensure that you understand the concepts. Concepts are the key to obtaining a good grade. PHYSICS Physics is a highly conceptual subject and when we tutor physics, we emphasize the conceptual nature of physics. BIOLOGY Biology is all about applying what you have learnt. We find students have difficulty focusing on their courses, especially when they get stuck on challenging questions (Thinking and Application questions). Our tutors break down the material into manageable chunks, and teach students the topics during the session. Joe’s Story Joe started Zylor Education over 10 years ago, with the hope to make disciplined learning accessible for all students. After summarizing concepts to make them easier for his daughters, Joe realized that many students could benefit from these same bite-sized lessons, and Zylor Education was born. Joe’s experience as the Vice President of Information Services at Teranet lends itself to utilizing technology and processes that would enable students to succeed academically. His Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering enables him to understand the challenges that students face in their academic performance, and is attuned to how they can prepare for academic success.
