Fieldwork Validation Using Spectralon Samples: AGU 2012 Results

This project presents results from the 2012 Fall AGU conference related to fieldwork validation using 2” diameter colored Spectralon samples. The research, funded by NIST, explores the potential for LIS-type in-air reflectance validation. The CIMEL SIRCUS data requires re-analysis to address internal background offset issues. The project's funding concluded on December 31, 2012, with plans to publish the findings.

  1. LIS results presented at 2012 Fall AGU; plan to write up for publication. Three 2” diameter colored Spectralon samples purchased with NIST funds; possible investigation for future LIS-type in air reflectance validation during field work. CIMEL SIRCUS data needs to be re-analyzed due to internal background offset. Project funding ended Dec 31, 2012.
