This project presents results from the 2012 Fall AGU conference related to fieldwork validation using 2” diameter colored Spectralon samples. The research, funded by NIST, explores the potential for LIS-type in-air reflectance validation. The CIMEL SIRCUS data requires re-analysis to address internal background offset issues. The project's funding concluded on December 31, 2012, with plans to publish the findings.

LIS results presented at 2012 Fall AGU; plan to write up for publication. Three 2” diameter colored Spectralon samples purchased with NIST funds; possible investigation for future LIS-type in air reflectance validation during field work. CIMEL SIRCUS data needs to be re-analyzed due to internal background offset. Project funding ended Dec 31, 2012.
