Happy Tuesday! Begin your class with your journal and a Potential/Kinetic Worksheet as a warm-up. After completing your warm-up, retrieve a laptop and sign in to my website. Navigate to Classroom Links and select Newton's Cradle under Energy Links for a brief exploration. Afterward, log in to ExploreLearning and access Roller Coaster Physics. Complete the assignment sheet following the activity. For your Potential & Kinetic Energy Test Review, familiarize yourself with key definitions, the Law of Conservation of Energy, and energy locations in pendulums, waterfalls, and basketballs.

Happy Tuesday! Get your journal to use as a resource, grab a Potential/Kinetic Worksheet, and begin as warm-up.
When you are finished with your warm-up: • Get a laptop from one of the laptop containers • Sign in and go to my website • Head to Classroom Links, scroll down and choose Newton’s Cradle underneath Energy Links • Play around with the site for about five minutes, then move on to explorelearning.com • Log in and head to Roller Coaster Physics • Get the assignment sheet that follows Roller Coaster Physics and continue assignment
For your P&K Energy Test Review: • Know the definitions for both Potential and Kinetic Energy. • Know the Law of Conservation of Energy. • Know where, on a pendulum, (think Newton’s Cradle,) there is maximum potential energy, maximum kinetic energy, and where Energy Transformation happens. • Know where, on a waterfall, potential, kinetic, and Energy Transformation happens. • Know where the most potential energy exists when a basketball is bounced. • Know what is important about gravitational potential energy and elastic potential energy.
