Achievements • Significant infrastructure improvements of: • Security - with Fortinet firewall appliance • Speed - with replacement network core switches • Wireless access - with upgrade of Alcatel /Aruba WLAN appliance, radius server deployment, and additional access points • Scalable storage with the addition of the NetApp Storage Area Network (8 Terabyte base storage) • Disaster recovery for district core servers with off-site fail over • Disaster recovery with administration virtual core file servers • Improved e-mail management • Hosted management software via SunGard software suite • Information systems adapted for compliance with PIMS
