  1. 4 Natural Remedies to Destress Stress is an everyday part of life. Sometimes, stress can be a good thing. It can give someone the adrenaline that they need to push through and get that project done by the deadline. It can give a person the energy that they need to finish a race. Too much stress can quickly turn into a bad thing. It can lead to a person feeling burnt out, it can make them feel as though they are exhausted, and it can ultimately lead to disease. Individuals that are experiencing too much stress are more prone to heart disease and to overeating. Therefore, it is so important to practice stress management techniques like these daily. Just five minutes One of the common reasons that people do not practice stress management techniques is that they feel that they do not have the time. Therefore, it is important to remember to just take five minutes out of the day to find a bit of relief. This could mean taking a few deep breaths in the car in between picking up the children or practicing a favorite yoga pose for a few minutes. Mind, body and soul The practice of Ayurveda focuses on the belief that mind, body, and soul are all connected. When people remember the Ayurveda belief and begin to practice Ayurveda as a way of life, they will automatically find that they are less stressed because stress management techniques, such as yoga or Ayurveda retreats become a way of life. A person that remembers the lessons of Ayurveda will focus on the things that they need to feel better. Meditation Meditation is a wonderful way to destress, and it remains the most convenient way for busy professionals to take a mental break in the middle of the day. Unlike yoga, which requires ample space to do yoga poses, meditation can be done anywhere. It can be one minute in the car or twenty seconds in a traffic jam on the way home. The breathing exercises learned through meditation can be applied almost anywhere. Get away Sometimes, it just nice to run away, even as an adult. The stresses and worries of life can quickly make a person feel both physically and mentally exhausted daily. During

Those that can’t get away for a full retreat can still find their own personal escape a town or two away with a brief hiking trip. Whether a person goes on a retreat from stress or takes a few minutes in the car for deep breathing exercises, it is important that everyone practice stress management in a way that works for them. Doing this can make a person less likely to experience heart disease, obesity and give in to the cravings and unhealthy lifestyle that go hand in hand with stress. Say goodbye to carb cravings and enjoy a healthier, stress free lifestyle with these tips today.
