  1. The Dawn of a New India! In a country corporate organizations shape the economy, but NGOs in India are the ones’ who save the society. NGO organizations are the engine that uplift the economically unequal and underprivileged. How NGO in India work? They tirelessly commit themselves to creating a fair, progressing society. They become the strength of the ones who have no support. In the league of these super-heroes enters yet another, a new NGO in India that is committed to create a New India, an invincible India. Introducing – NGO New India. New India is a self-funded NGO that is founded by two entrepreneurial and compassionate beings, viz. Vijay Tata and Amrita Tata. The NGO is a manifestation of their vision to give back to the society and the country that has given them the opportunity to dream and flourish. New India, found its root and meaning in the belief of Vijay and Amrita that we can definitely make India a country that is invincible and a beautiful haven. The NGO begins with three major causes as its first phase to usher in a greater common good. New India, dedicates itself to make India a safe haven for women by supporting them and empowering them, its initiative StopRape will bring justice to rape victims and help them resurrect their lives, their initiative Future Kids, is committed to create a life-worth living for the underprivileged kids, and finally comes the endeavour to make available quality health-care to the needy for free Vijay and Amrita have started up small by already pledging a 50 acre land, on which a super- speciality Cancer hospital will be constructed. This is just one of the many steps that will go on to make New India’s dream a reality. New India, only seeks volunteers and supporters who are willing to share their time and skills and help propel the positivity the NGO stands for. It doesn’t want donations it just needs courage. Our Causes: Stop Rape: We want to be your strength, because it is your strength that empowers us! Our country witnesses over 35000 rape cases in a year, a number which is increasing, and a number that reflects a dark truth we all live with. Over 31,000 rape cases are pending in high courts alone. India’s conviction rate for rape, at 25.5%, remains low compared to all cognisable crimes – those that do not require a magistrate’s permission to investigate – under the Indian Penal Code (46.9% in 2015). New India is well aware that the path to a progressive India is the path that protects the creators of human race, Women. Unfortunately our patriarchal society keeps abusing this strength, violence against women is a burning problem, and New India aims at fighting it with all might. The NGO is committed to supporting Rape victims, empowering them, helping them go back to their life and bring them justice. It stands like a strong, protective shield against rape! New India’s Stop Rape is the new beacon for violence against women! It is time we make our country a safer place for women! Future Kids: The little lives of today are the big dreams of tomorrow! Let us nurture them! 1 in 4 children of school-going age is out of school in our country.

  2. 99 million children in total have dropped out of school. Only 2% of the schools offer complete school education from Class 1 to Class 12 (District Information System for Education (DISE) 2014-15) 19.8 million Children below age 6 in India are undernourished (ICDS 2015) Only 9.6% of children between 6-23 months in the country receive an adequate diet (NFHS 4, 2015- 16) 38% (1 in 3) of children between 0-5 years are stunted in the country (NFHS 4, 2015-16) There are 10.13 million child labourers between 5-14 years in India If we neglect our future, we surely are harming a present that is to come. New India, believes that how we treat our today, will shape our tomorrow. And thus its initiative Future Kids is dedicated to the well-being of the underprivileged and less fortunate children. The little humans who are a sea of energy and a bounty of opportunities. Sadly, most of these little lives are wasted at the hands of poverty, lack of education and child labour. Better India dedicates itself to architect a better future for these children, by providing them shelter, care and education. Future Kids, already supports and nurtures 40 kids. They are family, so much so that Amrita Tata takes personal participation in preparing their meals. Health-Care for All: A nation’s progress lies in its ability to provide health and care to its people! A healthy India is our aim! Health and Hygiene are basic rights of every individual, they aren’t a luxury but a necessity. Poverty and inequality have made health care and hygiene a privilege for a few and thus a precious gift like life is widely wasted. New India’s aim is to make this basic right available to all, by investing in and creating affordable quality health-care. Let us not let the lack of money be the reason for lack of empathy! Fight against Cancer: A single sitting of a chemotherapy costs about INR 90,000, a full-fledged cancer treatments runs into lakhs of rupees. What makes the matters worse is availing any kind of treatment for the poor is a challenge. They either face shortage of quality care or shortage of money or often are deprived from timely care. Cancer is the modern day devil, it has dug its claws deep into the very existence of humanity, and we as a species are relentlessly fighting this devil. New India solemnly commits itself to the fight against cancer by ensuring to take strong steps in making sure that cancer treatment and care is available to all the needy and poor for free. Because with Cancer what kills faster is the cost associated to it. New India already has earned itself a 50 acre land that will be the foundation on which a cancer hospital will be built.
