  2. Introduction • The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is an autonomous government-owned college. This university conducts the Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT 2017) for admission to the B. Tech and various other PG programs offered by the university.

  3. Programs Offered • The programs that are offered for admission via the CUSAT CAT 2017 include: • Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) • Bachelor of Law • MS • MA • Maters of Law • MCA • Master of Sea Food and Safety

  4. Important Dates • The important dates of the CUSAT CAT 2017 are as follows: • Online registration (except for PhD, M. Phil, Diplomas and Certificate programmes) – February 8 to 28, 2017 • MBA and M. Tech online registrations – March 1 to 10, 2017 • Application and payment completion by – March 5, 2017 • Admit cards available from – April 15 to 30, 2017 • CUSAT CAT 2017 Date – April 29 and 30, 2017 • Results declared – May, 2017, last week

  5. Syllabus The CUSAT CAT 2017 syllabus is different for every course. The first degree course syllabi will be based on the Class 11th and 12th syllabus. The prescribed syllabus for the CUSAT CAT 2017 can be checked online.

  6. Results The results for the CUSAT CAT 2017 will be announced by the conducting body on its official website. The candidates will be able to get their results through their roll numbers. On the basis of these results, merit lists will be prepared and published on the university’s portal.

  7. Counseling The counseling will begin a few weeks after the declaration of the CUSAT CAT 2017results. The schedule will be posted on the official website. This counseling will be held for all the candidates who clear the exam. There will be no call letters or communications sent by mail and the candidates will have to register themselves on the login portal, for various academic programme admissions at the university. The seats will be allotted to registered candidates based on their ranks and seat availability.
