Roles and Responsibilities of PDC Members This list was created by PDC Members at our meetings in August 2007: • Track attendance for all school staff development sessions • Give certificates for in-house sessions- 12 points max (school-wide) and 12 points max (grade level / department meetings); Keeping up with hours • Planning site-based staff development / providing it as well; Answer questions about in-house staff development

Roles and Responsibilities of PDC Members, continued • Review SD website with experienced teachers; introduce to new teachers • Advising – explaining what’s expected with certification to staff members; Make sure they know what counts/ doesn’t in different categories • Make sure colleagues are aware of HCS Staff Development opportunities • Be aware of who is up for renewal; how to support them • Serve as liaison to subject area learning specialist

Second Semester Responsibilities of PDC Members • Continue tracking attendance for all school staff development sessions • Determine who is up for renewal in June 2010; support them in renewal process • Give certificates for in-house sessions- 12 points max (school-wide) and 12 points max (grade level / department meetings) • Answer questions about in-house staff development, renewal
