Issues/Requirements • M240 Procurement • Submitted as POM 06 Issue • NAVFAC Providing FY04 WPN to procure 230 for CBs • M16A3 Procurement • Funding Identified in FY06 to Procure 4,600 M16A3s • Repair Backlog has Grown to $12.6M • Naval Coastal Warfare/Mobile Security Forces (NCW/MSF) • $8.6M New Requirement for Initial Outfitting • PEO LMW Letter to CFFC Stating Cannot Meet Requirement • Submitted as POM 06 Issue • Military Sealift Command (MSC) • $9.5M Total Requirement • $1.03M provided to NSWC Crane for repair of initial shipsets. Remainder in FY 04 and FY 05 • 1375 M16A2s and M9 Berettas obtained from USMC
