  2. How did clergymen get their everyday food? • They received their food from the people of the city/village. • They went and farmed their own food. • God revealed the food to them • The Pope sent them all some of his share.

  3. What language was mass most likely served in? • Russian • Greek • Latin • Macedonian

  4. After religious services, what would clergymen do for the rest of the day? • Teaching, hear confessions, & visit the poor • Farm, Fight, & Fish • Doctoring, plundering, & attending funerals • Chill 

  5. How was a priest ordained? • They were a commoner by birth. • They went to school and chose to be one. • They were selected by the Pope. • Their daddy told them to become one.

  6. What are other forms of clergymen(at that time)? • Priests and Nick • Popes, Bishops, & Drangas • Nuns • Monasteries and Monks

  7. Priesthood is a body of what? • Shamans • Gods • Leaders • Greatness

  8. Why were clergies of the time so successful? • They also ran politics while running the church. • They were dictators. • They had the power  • They had the power of ostracism.

  9. How did they bribe most officials? • They threatened execution to the officials. • They would bankrupt the official. • They had the people who were under the officials reign turn on them. Ostracize him. • The officials would usually disappear.

  10. What did people usually look up to the clergy for? • Leadership in religion and government. • Guidance for the afterlife • How to live • How to spend their time

  11. Did the church become power hungry in the middle ages? • Yes, they took the power and used it when they need it. • Yes, at first they didn’t want the power. Though they got it and became corrupt. • No, they held their position and would not budge. • No, the little power they had where taken by the nobles.

  12. Who did the clergy get most of their orders from? • The King • The Pope • The Republic • The Bible

  13. What was the main points of most church congregations? • Get money • Get more followers • Be boss  • Get people on track to heaven.

  14. In the end what were clergy life goals? • Get mo money. • To live life, earn gods mercy. • To please all • Have fun
