  9. Subject + have/has + not + Past participle + object. Example We haven't seen her today. Negative Form

  10. Have/has + subject + Past participle + object? Example Have you played the piano since you were a child? Answer: Yes, I have. No, I have not . Question Form

  11. Wh-words + have/has + Subject + Past participle + object? Example What have you done to this room? It’s a mess. Question Form

  14. Time Expression: Since/ For Since: Point of time means “from that point in time until the present.” Dates (2011, January, Tuesday, etc.), Times (6:15, noon, this morning, etc.) Past events (I was a child, he graduated from college, etc)

  23. Time Expression: Already and Yet Already: things that happened before now. • Already can be used in positive statements and questions. • Example • “I’ve already read today’s newspaper.” • “Have you already paid the electric bill?” • “She’s finished the test already.”

  24. Yet: things not happened before now • Yet can be used in negative statements and questions. • Example • “We haven’t cleaned the house yet.” • “Has he told you the good news yet?”

  25. Recently and lately can be used in positive statements, negative statements, or questions Adele has recently lost weight.
