Grade 5 – End of Year Puberty • Addresses physical, emotional and social changes students are beginning to experience at this time. • Held during the last two weeks of school • Curriculum materials will be shared with parents as the dates for the mini-lessons approach. Grade 4/5 - ISA • International Schools’ Assessment from The Australian Council for Educational Research to assess reading, writing and mathematical literacy • For Grade 3, 4 & 5 students on October 9th and 10th • Results available beginning of Semester Two. • No student preparation required • Why do we test? To inform our teaching and learning To compare ISPP to like schools

22. Grade 5 Barge Trip • Chao Phraya River in Thailand. • We investigate the river environment and human impact upon it. • 27th – 30th January 2013.

23. Grade 4 Sleepover • In school buildings and grounds. • For the children to experience an overnight excursion in a familiar setting. • To prepare the children for multi-night school trips. • To develop interpersonal skills using team building activities.
