  3. Thomas Jefferson will hold an Open House on Saturday, Oct 13th

  4. 8th Grade Students interested in applying to Thomas Jefferson  can  attend the Information session during lunch in the Art 2 room (Spectrum) where Mrs. O'Brien will review the applications process.

  5. You may bring your lunch with you. Please see Ms. Splendore in the cafeteria for a pass to go to the front of the line.

  6. Recycle your old printer cartridges here and help raise money for Smart’s Mill.

  7. For every printer cartridge we recycle, we get $2.00 store credit at Staples. That can add up to a lot of school supplies for our teachers and staff!!!

  11. You may be interested in a program called GIRLS TAKE CHARGE which is being offered at George Mason University on Saturday, October 13th.

  13. 6th Grade Ida Lee Fun Night October 13th from 8:30-10pm This event is just for our 6th graders--no sibs allowed.

  14. 6th graders will have the use of the pool and gym areas so bring your suits and wear your gym clothes. Pizza and snacks will be for sale for a small fee. The entrance fee is $4 per student.

  15. Chick Fil A Spirit Night is Tonight, October 10th 5-8pm.

  23. Grab your scissors and keep an eye out for the Box Tops for Education logo on the products you use every day. For every Box Top you clip, our school will receive 10 cents. That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly.

  24. Bring your Box Tops for Education to your Focus teacher.  The focus group that collects the most will get a prize provided by the PTA
