  2. Basic Principles • Attack. Think “we’re about to score”, not “oh no!” Make them pay. • Practice blitz pickup every day • Cover zero period • Above all else, protect your QB. Be willing to sacrifice getting receivers out in order to keep him standing • Confuse the bad guys, not your own players (keep it simple)
