Importance of Planning • Watch this video clip. • Consider: • What plan did these individuals have for becoming pop stars? • What do you think of their plan? • What could they have done differently to obtain the right career for them?
Personality Type • Knowing your personality type is one way to understand yourself – your strengths, weaknesses, and preferences • All personality types are created equal! • By learning about the different types, we can understand and appreciate differences between people.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator • There are many different types of personality tests • The MBIT is a popular personality test that is often used by businesses and other organizations to: • Help guide hiring and placement decisions • Guide team building • Help employees better understand their own behavior and preferences
