I observed the Laughing Gull or scientifically known as Leucophaeus Atricilla. • I Observed the Laughing Gull on August 4th from 1:30 to 2 o’clock. the first one I was observing flew away so I had to examine a new one. • I observed it at Outer Banks North Carolina. • The habitat that it was in when I was observing it was the grassy area behind the sand dunes and on the sand.

  4. The first Laughing Gull sees another seagull before flying away

  5. The second Laughing Gull scares away the other

  6. The Laughing Gull has spotted something in the sand is it food?

  7. The Laughing Gull spotted a stick sticking out of the sand.

  8. In conclusion • It was fun observing an animal I didn’t know very much about. The Laughing Gull is certainly an interesting animal. I learned that Laughing Gulls are very territorial. They are also easily frightened (that I learned the hard way). It stuck its beak in the sand but didn’t get any thing so I didn’t find out what they ate or what gender it was. I learned while photographing wild life be very quite. The experience over all was definitely fun.
