  4. 1999 Budget Review • Revenues US$ 558,682 • Expenses US$ 325,610 • Income US$ 233,072 • Credits for overpayment US$ (39,000) • Net Income US$ 194,072 All revenues collected in 1999 were contributed by TIA members. Hence the excess will only be credited to TIA (as agreed at March 28, 2000 OP Finance Teleconference meeting) 3GPP2/OP-20000418-005

Budget 2000 - continued Time Off-set for Contributions • As of November, 1999 each Organizational Partner agreed to a time schedule for submitting payments to the Secretariat. • Invoices for the first installment were issued January, 2000 • Second installment depends on accurate count of individual members as ascertained for each OP • Second installment will also be reduced by estimated ‘payment in kind’ credit for hosting meetings • April 13, 2000 - Each OP provided target dates for future FY2000 invoicing. Secretariat will issue invoices on dates requested. 3GPP2/OP-20000418-005

Funding Agreement Final funding agreements by partners • This is a written statement prepared by the Secretariat reflecting the payment amounts and the commitment of each OP to fund 3GPP2 for the year 2000. • Funding agreement drafted by OP Finance Oversight Committee April 13, 2000 • Final approval by OP requested 3GPP2/OP-20000418-005

Proxy Agreement • This is a written statement identifying TIA as the organization authorized to collect funds on behalf of 3GPP2 • Statement prepared by TIA Finance and Administration department on April 11, 2000 • Statement drafted by OP Finance Oversight Committee April 13, 2000 • Official signed proxy statements hand delivered to each OP April 18, 2000 3GPP2/OP-20000418-005

Technical Writers Guidelines • Goal is to use guidelines when contracting the services of a technical writer for the preparation of 3GPP2 specifications. • Technical writer guidelines were prepared October, 1999. • Guidelines approved by OP Finance Oversight Committee April 13, 2000 • OP Finance Oversight Committee requests that finalized guidelines be added to the Working Procedures Document as an annex. 3GPP2/OP-20000418-005
