RSE Oversight Committee

The RSE Oversight Committee, chaired by Fred Baker, is currently updating the RFC Editor Model. Discussions began at IETF 80, and a call for candidates attracted 36 respondents, narrowed down to a few finalists. The committee is gathering insights from key stakeholders, including the production center, stream editors, and chairs from IRTF and IAB. A recommendation is expected to be presented to the IAB this week, pending their confirmation. This update aims to refine the editorial process and improve the overall functioning of RFC publications.
