  3. Frequently Asked Questions Is there a difference between the Equal Opportunity Institute (EOI) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Institute (EEOI)? Who is required to attend the EEOI?

  4. Equal Opportunity Institute NC State University program that started on campus in 1999. Designed to increase participants' awareness of equal opportunity issues and increase their effectiveness as employees or students. Year long certificate program sponsored by OEO, HR and CSLEPS.

Equal Opportunity Institute Begins in September runs through May All participants take three required classes and then select 7 additional electives Such topics as protected classes, affirmative action, disability, oppression, discrimination and harassment prevention, cross cultural communication, diversity conflict management, and leadership in diversity are discussed

  9. Equal Employment Opportunity Institute (EEOI) • Equal Employment Opportunity Institute (EEOI) is an OSP sponsored program under NC General Statue 126.16.1 • All managers and supervisors (both EPA and SPA) are required to attend • Training program is a day and an half (12 hours) in length

Equal Employment Opportunity Institute (EEOI) • Program utilizes case studies and other activities to help managers and supervisors understand federal and state employment discrimination laws and how they impact day-to-day managerial decisions. • Discussion of diversity and its relationship to EEO/AA.

  11. Equal Employment Opportunity Institute (EEOI) • Register via e-learning system through the MyPACK Portal (http://mypack.ncsu.edu/) • Completion of this workshop counts as credit towards the three (3) required courses of the Equal Opportunity Institute (EOI)
