  3. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs STATISTICAL MAPPING RESULTS Status: -3-

  4. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs REPORT ON INNOVATION • information on both clusters (and both regions if necessary) • 1 report per each country • picturing facts and figures of the clusters • identifying the supply chain structure and innovation leaders  contains information from Mapping and Benchmarking Status: -4-

  5. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs LIST OF ACTORS OPERATING IN THE CLUSTER HUB • 1 list per each cluster, identifying all relevant actors • (if possible) grouped by “Companies”, “Research & Development / Universities” and “Local Stakeholders”  information from Local Mapping Meetings Status: / JTS comments -5-

  6. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs REPORT OF THE HUBS ACTORS • information on both clusters (and regions where applicable) • 1 report on each country • characterizing the innovation environment • describing cluster governance, cluster activities • explaining the roles of the stakeholders and how the actors cooperate  contains information from Mapping and Benchmarking Status: -6-

  7. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs REPORT ON CLUSTER ROLE IN IMPROVING INNOVATION IN TARGET COUNTRIES - International Report • 1 international report giving a comprehensive overview • summing up the findings from “Reports Of The Hubs Actors” and “Reports On Innovation” • describing the role of clusters in improving innovation and effects on development towards World Class Clusters Status: -7-

  8. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs International Report – Core Elements • clusters in the regions show very different structures, members, organizational level and life-cycle states • all clusters aim to improve innovation capability and competitiveness, to enable growth processes and ensure sustainability • cluster companies cooperate and compete at the same time, the exchange relations generate specific knowledge and increase the ability to adopt and process knowledge • cluster activities: networking between R&D and companies, cooperative projects, organized events, qualification and education • future tasks: organize / ensure communication flow, intensify cooperation along value chain, early capture of technology-trends, promote innovation, increase capability to utilize knowledge, internationalization, marketing & lobbying, … • framework conditions for a cooperation- and innovation-friendly environment are set by regional, national and supranational policies • developingmanagementstrategiesusing a broadapproachtakingalreadyexistingstructuresintoaccount

  9. WP 3 Cluster Mapping – Outputs EVALUATION OF DATA COLLECTED • feedback analysis on the data collected given by target groups • Is the information collected correct? • Is important data missing? • Are the conclusions drawn in the reports right? • … • possible adjustments of methodology (in cooperation with ECO) Status: open  check in EASW Feedback to IMU a.s.a.p. -9-
